Did you notice that a lot of my artwork is inspired by the element of water?

To me water always has been an endless source of beauty, peace, and inspiration. It touches my soul, calms me down and grounds me. I love to swim, no matter if ist a lake, ocean or in a pool – ist like divin into an other world feeling light and weightless. Looking at waves moving or the river flowing is like a meditation to me.

But water also absolutely fits my personal aesthetic. The colours and also the transparency its like a window into an other world.

Whe I started painting I thought I m going to be a realistic water painter. But it turned out that I m more into abstact painting, it is the freedom about it that I enjoy so much. The elemnt of water shows up in my artwork through the blue and tuquoise colours, the abstracted forms of bubbles that I sometimes love to paint and also in the abstract elements that reflect patterns of waves or water splashing around.
